Help with AI Board

Open the Claude desktop app and work in Cowork, with your AI Board vault as the working folder. Just talk in your own words, for example "What should I do today?" or "Prepare me for the leadership meeting." Prefer a command? Type / and pick the skill. /ai-board:help lists every command.

For your day: daily brief, meeting prep, recording to actions, process my files, clean up my brain, weekly review, compare decks and routines. For documents: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PDF, diagram and animated presentation. For planning and decisions: autoplan, sparring partner, CEO review, engineering review and design review. Your cheatsheet lists them all, with the sentence to say and the command. In Claude, /ai-board:help shows the whole list.

Do the task once together with Claude, then say "Turn this into a skill." Claude writes the skill, shows it to you first and tests it with the sentence you use for it. From then on it is one sentence to run it again.

Say it in your own words, for example "Do this every Monday at 9." Claude turns it into a routine: a scheduled task at a fixed time. You then find it in the Claude desktop app under Scheduled. Click Run now once to approve its permissions up front.

Put the file in the Inbox folder of your vault and say "Process my files" (or /ai-board:verwerk). A note with a summary, decisions and actions lands in your vault, and the original moves to Inbox/Verwerkt. The morning routine also processes new files in the Inbox by itself, up to five per morning.

The standard set: Daily Refresh every working day around 08:00 (pull the numbers, process the Inbox, update the board, write the daily brief), Week Prep on Monday around 08:30 and Weekly Review on Friday around 16:00. On top of that, your custom routines, listed on your appendix. Ask "What runs when?" or use /ai-board:routines for the current overview.

A routine runs on your own laptop, and only while the Claude desktop app is open. If the laptop was closed or asleep, or the app was closed, the task runs at the next start. Keep the app open and don't let the laptop sleep while it's charging. Want today's brief now? Click Run now for AI Board · Daily Refresh in the Scheduled sidebar. If the dates look off, check that date and time are set automatically.

In the Claude desktop app, open the Scheduled sidebar and click Run now once for that task. That approves all its permissions up front. If it still gets stuck, a value in the fill-in table at the top of the routine is probably missing. Send the conversation to Jordi.

The Claude desktop app and Claude Code (which the routines rely on as well) are separate environments. A connection has to be switched on in both. Open Claude Code in your vault folder and type /mcp: you see which connections exist and whether they work, and you can sign in again when asked. Not sure how to open Claude Code? Ask the assistant. Always prove a connection with a real question, such as tomorrow's meetings: a list of accounts is no proof.

At the start that is normal: Home fills itself from your numbers and notes, and whatever isn't there yet shows as a muted dash. If you see a red error, or everything stays empty while there are numbers, check that the community plugins are on and that "Enable JavaScript queries" is on in Dataview.

In your vault: a plain folder of Markdown files on your own laptop (usually Documents/AIBoard). Obsidian is the lens you look at it with. Daily briefs live in Daily, numbers in Metrics, processed documents in Office, weekly reviews in Reviews, and your board is AI Board Kanban in the root folder.

The board has five lanes: Inbox, Today, Decide this week, Later and Done. AI Board puts its own suggestions in the Inbox; you move them, AI Board doesn't. A card you add to Today on your phone is picked up by the morning routine the next day. Checking a card off is final.

Yes. With Obsidian Sync your vault is on your phone as well, so your daily brief and the board are with you everywhere. With the Claude app on your phone you ask questions on the go; with Dispatch you send tasks from your phone to AI Board on your laptop.

Jordi delivers a new version as a folder, on a USB stick or by AirDrop. Open Claude Code in your vault folder and say "update AI Board" or type /ai-board:upgrade. You first see what changes, your routines are backed up and nothing is overwritten without your approval. Obsidian and Claude Code update themselves; update the Obsidian plugins monthly via Settings, Community plugins, Check for updates.

The subscription is €59 per manager per month, excl. VAT. It gives you updates, new skills, better routines, AI news at your level and support by email with a reply within two working days. You're not locked in: if you stop, your installation keeps working.

You pay your Claude subscription (Pro or Max) yourself, directly to Anthropic. It is separate from AI Board.

Yes. The setup day is €3,199 once per person, excl. VAT, then €59 per manager per month. Send your colleague to the setup day page or have Jordi get in touch.

Your company brain and your files are on your own laptop. Your questions go through Anthropic, the maker of Claude. AI Board trains nothing on your data. Whether Anthropic uses your chats to improve Claude is your choice on Pro and Max, through the model improvement privacy setting (in Claude under Settings, Privacy). If you want to keep your questions on your laptop as well, there is a fully local edition with an honest difference in capability.

No. Routines only write to your vault. Emails and messages are always drafts; you send them yourself. Deleting or archiving also only happens after your approval.
